SUPERIOR FLIGHT TRAINING FROM THE GROUND UP  
 

In conjunction with Oklahoma State University’s Center for Aerospace and Hyperbaric Medicine the following classes are offered. Each aviation physiology course begins in the classroom. These sessions meet FAA requirements and are designed to teach pilots about the physiological challenges associated with flight.

Advanced Pilot Classes

Spatial Disorientation

  • Experience real-life spatial disorientation in a safe environment
  • Learn proper corrective procedures to recover from spatial disorientation
  • FAA Certified Level II Flight Training Device
  • 360 degree full motion
  • Instrumentation and performance that simulates a Cessna 172

Class consists of 1.5 hours of ground school covering physiology as it relates to spatial disorientation in addition to a Flight in the Gat II simulator to experience three common illusions. You will experience the illusion and then learn how to overcome it.

  3. Graveyard Spiral
  4. Leans
  5. Autokinesis – Dancing Lights
  6. Black Hole
  7. Dark Takeoff
  8. False Horizon (Night)
  9. Nystagmus Rapid Eye Movement
  10. Oculgyral – Runway Width
  11. Sloped Runway
  12. Vacuum Pump Failure
